About Preparing for the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournaments

The 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier and 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship tournaments are here, but duelists beware. The 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier begins with the quiz in which all registered participants will need to demonstrate their knowledge of all aspects of Yu-Gi-Oh! The quiz is then followed by live head-to-head play.

What Can A Duelist Do To Prepare?

How can duelists best prepare for the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier and 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship? To prepare for this year's tournament, make sure that you:

	Are up to date on your Yu-Gi-Oh!
	Know Yu-Gi-Oh! on the Nintendo DS™.
	Have a copy of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2011 game.
	Are playing the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2011 game
	on your Nintendo DS™.
	Are registered for the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier.
	Are up to date on Yu-Gi-Oh! rules.
	Have updated your Yu-Gi-Oh! forbidden card list.
	Have a Nintendo DS™ that can connect to the Internet.
	Understand the tournament eligibility requirements.

About Head-To-Head Play in the 2011 Tournaments

During the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier and the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship, all online head-to-head play is conducted on the Nintendo DS™ and played with the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2011 game.

To prepare for head-to-head play for the 2011 tournaments, make sure that you:

	Have a copy of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2011 game.
	Have updated your Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Card List.
	Are familiar with online play using the Nintendo DS™.
	Have a Nintendo DS™ that connects to the Internet.
	Have access to your e-mail at the time of your head-to-head match
	in order to confirm your presence for your match.
	Understand the Head-To-Head play process.
	Understand that in the case of an appeal of a head-to-head match,
	you will need to provide a digital image of your match results

The 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier
Tournament is about to begin.
The qualifier consists of two
parts. It begins with the Quiz
where registered participants
must demonstrate their knowledge
of Yu-Gi-Oh!, including Yu-Gi-Oh!
game play. Part two is the
online head-to-head qualifier
tournament.

Tournament takes the top 128 duelists
from the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Quiz
Round and pits them in online
head-to-head play.
The final 4 participants are eligible
to travel to the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh!
US Championship finals Friday, July 15
to Sunday, July 17 at the
David L. Lawrence Convention Center
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!
