1. What happens if I win the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship?
Then you will travel to the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship. The top two finishers in the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship are invited to the World Championship overseas, location still pending.

2. Do I have to travel for the second part of the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship?
Yes. If you qualify for the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship you (if you are a minor you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian), you will be invited to travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the live portion of the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship on Friday July 15, 2011 through Sunday July 17, 2011. Travel for the TOP FOUR finishers in the online portion of the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship will be paid for as part of their prizing. For the TOP FOUR finishers, airline travel to and from the event will be paid, hotel, during the tournament in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania will also be paid, as will transportation to and from the hotel to the event. The second place finishers in each 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier are also eligible to compete in the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship. However, the second place finishers do not WIN travel to the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship. If, for any reason, the second place finisher from each respective 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier chooses not to attend, then the third place finisher from that 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier is eligible to attend. If the third place finisher from each respective 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier chooses not to attend, then the fourth place finisher is eligible to attend.

3. How does the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship work?
If you finish in the top 128 of the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship Qualifier Quiz, then you are eligible to participate in the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship. The 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship consists of two parts. Part one is head-to-head play online. Part is live play in the Semi-Finals and Finals in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Friday July 15, 2011 through Sunday July 17, 2011. Play during live head-to-head play is also best two out of three.

US Qualifier Quiz, then you are eligible for online play in the The 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship. The 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship consists of two parts. Part one is head-to-head play online. 5. How do I get from the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier to the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship?
Once you are registered for the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier, you will receive a unique Entry Code via e-mail prior to the commencement of the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier. This code is assigned to you and only you. You use this code to participate in the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier Quiz. If you finish in the top 128 participants in the quiz you move on to head-to-head play. In order to qualifiy for the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship, you must finish in the top 128 in the Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier Quiz.

6. How can I best prepare for the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier and 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship?
To participate in the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship, you must first participate in the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier. To participate in the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier, you must first register. To register click the REGISTER button and complete all required fields. You can also go to the PREPARATION page for more information.

7. What do I need to participate in the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship?
You need a Nintendo DS™ and a copy of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2011 game for the Nintendo DS™. You will also need to be able to connect your Nintendo DS™ to the Internet and have a Nintendo Friend Code for your Nintendo DS™.

You must be under the age of 32 years old as of June 1, 2011 in order to participate in the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship.

Duelists are eligible for the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier Quiz if they have completed the entire online registration for the tournament and meet the registration requirements.

13. If I qualify for head-to-head play, what do I need to have ready to participate?
You need to have an Nintendo DS™ that can be connected to the Internet via a wireless connection, you have to have your own copy of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2011 game, and you have to have have updated your Yu-Gi-Oh! forbidden card list.

14. For head-to-head play, what is a Play Window?
A play window is the time during which a head-to-head match takes place. All play windows are sixty (60) minutes long and you need to be online with your Nintendo DS™ at the start of the agreed to Play Window to meet your opponent. It is also recommended that you have access to your e-mail so that you can confirm your presence at the start of your Play Window. Finally, please note that all Play Windows are scheduled in Eastern Standard Time.

15. What does Eastern Standard Time mean?
Eastern Standard Time (EST) is the time zone for the Eastern region of the United States. Eastern Standard Time is three hours later than Pacific Standard Time, and two hours later than Central Time. All Play Windows are scheduled in Eastern Standard Time. So, for example, if you the Play Window for your head-to-head match is 8:00PM Eastern Standard Time, this is 5:00PM Pacific Time or 6:00PM Central Time. What is most important is that all participants in head-to-head play understand that their Play Windows are in Eastern Standard Time.

16. How will I be notified regarding my head-to-head play match?
You will be notified by e-mail if you qualify for head-to-head play. Once you have been notified if you qualify, you will then receive e-mail communication containing web links to this web site which will allow you to select -- if you are the higher seed -- or accept -- if you are the lower seed, head-to-head match times.

17. Do I have to be present and online during the entire Play Window?
You have to be present at the start of your Play Window and until you have completed your head-to-head match with your opponent. Once your match is complete, you can shut down.

18. How will I report the results of my head-to-head match?
Once your Play Window is complete, you will receive an e-mail from this web site. In the e-mail there will be a link to a web form in which you will report your match results.

19. What if I don't agree with the outcome of my match?
If you don't agree with the outcome of your match, you may appeal the result. If you want to appeal, you select that you want to appeal when you are reporting your match results.

20. How does the appeal process work?
When you select that you want to appeal your match, you will be sent an e-mail from this web site. The e-mail will contain a link to a web form that will allow you to complete your appeal. You need to understand that you may appeal your match only one time and that all appeal rulings are final. You also need to understand that if you are appealing your match, you will be asked to submit a digital image of your results screen from your Nintendo DS™. Failure to submit the digital image will result in an immediate denial of your appeal and your immediate disqualification from the tournament.

21. What information will I need to provide regarding my appeal?
If you decide to appeal your match, you will be need to complete the appeal form, provide a digital image of your results screen from your Nintendo DS™, and you may be asked to send your Nintendo DS™ as well as your copy of your Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2011 game. If you are asked to provide your Nintendo DS™ and the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2011 game they MUST be those that you used in your head-to-head match. Failure to comply with requests for additional information regarding your appeal will result in the immediate denial of your appeal as well as your immediate disqualification from the tournament.
