The 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championships Tournament is About to Begin

The tournament begins with the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier. It starts with registering for the tournament. Once registered, duelists will be tested on their overall knowledge of Yu-Gi-Oh! in the qualifier quiz. For 2011 there will be head-to-head play for the top 128 quiz takers. After the initial rounds of play, the top 4 participants will be invited to take part in the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship.

The 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship consists entirely of head-to-head play with the Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship 2011 game and an Internet ready Nintendo DS™. The Rounds of 64 through to the Round of 8 are conducted online in Head-to-Head play. The final round will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center Friday July 15, 2011 through Sunday July 17, 2011

About Head-To-Head Play in the 2011 Tournaments

During the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier and the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship, all online head-to-head play is conducted on the Nintendo DS™ and played with the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2011 game.

To prepare for head-to-head play for the 2011 tournaments, make sure that you:

	Have a copy of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2011 game.
	Have updated your Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Card List.
	Are familiar with online play using the Nintendo DS™.
	Have a Nintendo DS™ that connects to the Internet.

where registered participants
must demonstrate their knowledge
of Yu-Gi-Oh!, including Yu-Gi-Oh!
game play. Part two is the
online head-to-head qualifier
tournament.
