Welcome to the 2008 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship Site

The 2008 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championships Tournament is About to Begin

The tournament begins with the 2008 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier. It starts with registering for the tournament. Once registered, duelist will be tested on their overall knowledge of Yu-Gi-Oh! in the qualifier quiz. The 256 top finishers in the quiz, then go onto to play in head-to-head competition. After two rounds of battle, the remaining 64 duelists move on to the 2008 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship.

The 2008 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship consists entirely of head-to-head play with the Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship 2008 game and an Internet ready Nintendo DS™. The first three rounds are conducted online. The final four rounds take place in San Diego, California on Saturday, July 26, 2008.

About Head-To-Head Play in the 2008 Tournaments

During the 2008 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier and the 2008 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship, all online head-to-head play is conducted on the Nintendo DS™ and played with the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008 game.

To prepare for head-to-head play for the 2008 tournaments, make sure that you:

	Have a copy of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008 game.
	Have updated your Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Card List.
	Are familiar with online play using the Nintendo DS™.
	Have a Nintendo DS™ that connects to the Internet.

must demonstrate their knowledge
of Yu-Gi-Oh!, including Yu-Gi-Oh!
game play. The top 256 finishers
from the quiz move onto head-to-head

Tournament takes the top 64 duelists
from the 2008 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier
and pits them in head-to-head play
for the title of US Champion. The
final 4 participants get to travel to

finals in San Diego, California.
